The Pond | 30 x 30 inches | £4,000
Inspired by my own pond in our garden. When we moved into our house my priority was to ask my husband to use his very handy mini digger to scoop out a kidney-shaped depression. We lined it and filled it with river water and then popped around to a friend's established pond and filled buckets with pond life and plants to transplant into our pristine habitat. Five years on, it's flourishing and overflowing with creatures; dragonfly larva and pond snails, newts and frogs and a dozen different plants. It's the perfect subject for someone like me who loves grubbing round in nature!

Hello! My name is Sasha Harding and I'm a fine artist. I have been painting for over 25 years in beautiful Cornwall, surrounded by all the things that inspire me. I paint the sea and the coast, underwater and above, rock pools and crashing waves and dogs running in the shallows.
