In a bespoke wooden frame.
Inspired by my own pond in our garden.
When we moved into our house my priority was to ask my husband to use his very handy mini digger to scoop out a kidney-shaped depression. We lined it and filled it with river water and then popped around to a friend's established pond and filled buckets with pond life and plants to transplant into our pristine habitat.
Five years on it's flourishing and overflowing with creatures; dragonfly larva and pond snails, newts and frogs and a dozen different plants.
It's the perfect subject for someone like me who loves grubbing round in nature!
