reflections

I am a month into working for a show in Broadway this June. The title is Around Britain's Coastline, so lots of sea and sand! It is odd painting beach scenes when it is snowing outside, but I'm cosy in my little studio with the wood burner lit. I'm doing a number of paintings about reflections in wet sand, and these three surfers are part of the series. I like the distortion of the reflections and the muted colours. For some reason I've put in a dalmation, odd because I have a four month old rhodesian ridgeback puppy and so really she should be the star, still, I love the spots! Now it's all drawn out I can't wait to get cracking on it tomorrow...
